How Telegram search works
When someone types a query in the Telegram search bar, global search returns public channels, groups and bots whose name or username matches it. Chats the person has already joined come first, then the rest of Telegram.
Only public chats
A channel or group appears in global search only if it is public and has a username. People join a private channel by invite link only.

How to rank a Telegram channel in search
Premium members lift a channel for the keywords it already shows up for, so the name comes first and the Premium audience second.
Put the keyword in the name
Use the word your audience types, for example “Crypto Signals Daily”, and add it to the username if it is free. Pick the username before you promote the channel: old t.me links stop working after a change.
Make sure the channel is public
Search shows only public channels with a username. From an account that is not subscribed, search the @username, the name and the keyword.
Measure the gap to your target position
