A Telegram boost is a vote that a Telegram Premium user gives to a channel or group. Boosts raise its level, and each level unlocks features such as stories, custom reactions, name and link colors, emoji status and wallpapers. Giving a boost costs the Premium user nothing extra: a Premium subscription comes with 4 boosts, and a boost stays with the channel while the subscription is active.
What does a Telegram boost do?
Boosts add up to a channel level. Every level keeps what the previous levels unlocked, adds one more story a day and one more custom reaction. The main steps for channels:

Who can boost a Telegram channel?
Only users with an active Telegram Premium subscription can give boosts. Accounts without Premium cannot boost channels or groups.
A boost gives no admin rights. Channel admins see who boosted the channel in its boost statistics.
How many boosts do you get with Telegram Premium?
It depends on how you got Premium. You can give all your boosts to one channel or split them between channels and groups.

How to boost a Telegram channel
Most people boost a channel from its boost link, which the owner shares with subscribers.
Open the boost link
It looks like t.me/username?boost. A private channel's link looks like t.me/c/1234567890?boost and works only for its members.
Check the channel
Telegram shows the channel, its current level and how many boosts it needs to reach the next one.
Tap Boost
Confirm to give one of your free boosts. If you have several, you can give the same channel more than one.
Done
The channel's boost count goes up and you have one free boost less. The boost works while your Premium is active.
Where to find your channel's boost link
Channel owners and admins find the boost link and the current level in the channel settings.
Open the channel profile
Tap the channel name at the top of the chat.
Go to Statistics and Boosts
Channel Settings → Statistics and Boosts → Boosts.
Copy the link
The screen shows the boost link, the level, the list of boosters and when each boost expires.

A boost has no fixed term. It stays with the channel as long as these conditions hold:
Premium is active
When the booster's Premium subscription ends, all their boosts disappear and the channel can drop a level.
The boost is not moved
A Premium user can give a boost to another channel. It leaves the old channel at once.
Moving has a cooldown
Each boost can be reassigned once every 24 hours.
Levels follow boosts
If the boost count falls below a level's threshold, the features of that level switch off.
How to get boosts for your channel
Boosts come only from Premium users, so every method comes down to getting more Premium users to boost the channel.

How many times can I boost one channel?
As many times as you have free boosts: 4 with a subscription you bought, plus 3 for every Premium gift you send. All of them can go to the same channel.
Do Telegram boosts expire?
A boost stays with the channel while the booster's Premium is active. It ends earlier if the booster moves it to another channel.
How do I move or remove a boost?
Open the boost link of another channel or group and reassign the boost there. Each boost can be moved once every 24 hours.
How do I check how many boosts my channel has?
Open the channel profile, then Channel Settings, Statistics and Boosts, Boosts. The screen shows the level, the boosts and who gave them.
Can I boost a private channel?
Yes, if you are a member. The boost stays with the channel even if you leave it later.
What does level 50 unlock?
At level 50 the channel owner can turn off Telegram ads in the channel. The channel also gets 50 stories a day and 50 custom reactions.
